When do you recruit new team members for your pharmacy?
Usually, it’s when someone retires or when you have to let an employee go. You should be recruiting seven days a week, constantly. Don’t wait until you need somebody. That’s when you make choices out of desperation rather than inspiration.
Have some business cards printed with your contact information and the following statement:
“Your outstanding attitude and behavior is exactly what we are looking for in XYZ Pharmacy Team Members. If you’re ever looking for another job, please give me a call.”
The next time you encounter great customer service and think, “I wish my employees were like that,” hand that person one of those cards.
