Managing Business Coach
Shannon takes a cerebral approach to her role as Managing Business Coach. And we mean cerebral—she’s a certified brain-based coach through the Neuroscience Leadership Institute.
Before becoming certified, Shannon received her bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy from Eastern Michigan and her master’s in management from Aquinas College. She held a variety of operational leadership positions at Spectrum Health before joining PDS.
Throughout her career, Shannon has been surrounded by great mentors. She gets to pay it forward as a business coach for independent pharmacies by helping to develop high performance and accountable teams that can leverage technology, data, and innovation to drive better patient outcomes and business results.
Of course, a cerebral person like Shannon would somehow find her way to academia. Shannon has held adjunct faculty and board positions at Grand Valley State University and Western Michigan University, with a focus on helping with the management and leadership curriculum in their Occupational Therapy programs.
Shannon enjoys spending time with her husband and three children. They enjoy travel, cooking, and many outdoor activities.
For Shannon, a self-described lifelong learner, using her mental skills to help others is second nature.
