After attending an annual PDS Conference, Kevin and his team returned home with “a lot of excitement,” he recalled. They started focusing on retail numbers, which enabled them to clearly identify their best opportunities. The fruits of that focused effort resulted in the pharmacy fulfilling 8,000 prescriptions a month — up from 7,500 prescriptions per month in the previous year. Their efforts also resulted in better customer care. “We’re talking to patients a lot more,” Kevin said.
