Synchronization Bootcamp

With each training of SyncRx+, course facilitator, Jason Turner, PharmD, has identified what pharmacists and technicians need the most to implement a synchronization program successfully. Incorporating slides, activities, and videos into the training are all key elements, but the lynchpin to achieving the greatest level of success is watching the process live in a pharmacy.

For years, owners and pharmacists have been traveling to Jason Turner’s store in Moundsville, West Virginia to see the Synchronization process and his two-workflow system in action. PDS and Moundsville Pharmacy are teaming up again to provide you with this unique and hands-on training experience. You now have the opportunity to attend a two-day live training inside one of the nation’s most successful synchronization programs and lead by the Sync Guru himself, Jason Turner.

Synchronization Bootcamp will focus on the most crucial elements to drive the success of your program.

  • Synchronization process and Workflow Concepts
  • Technology, Automation, Staff and Inventory Management
  • Goal Setting for Synchronization and performance
  • Understanding the Top 20% impact on your pharmacy

During this 2 day boot camp, you will receive the training, policies, procedures, templates, and best practices to implement a robust and successful synchronization program in your pharmacy with the goal of processing 50-60% of prescriptions through synchronization. Learn the best practices to remodel your pharmacy workflow and optimize performance.

The boot camp is divided into three learning environments:

  • Lecture-style training reviewing the process and workflow concepts of synchronization
  • In-pharmacy observation of the process with an interactive Q & A component with Moundsville Pharmacy staff
  • Workshop activities focused on setting goals, remodeling workflows, and identifying performance opportunities

Everything we needed to start a program was handed to us in this training. The forms to run the program and guidance to change workflow patterns were comprehensive. Most importantly, the process was easy to understand and apply in our pharmacy. Overall, this was excellent, and I would recommend it to any independent pharmacy owner.
